Wulf & Lamb

Chelsea

Tucked away in the quiet Pavilion Road behind Sloane Square, Wulf & Lamb serves decadent, 100% plant-based, comfort food to satisfy vegans and meat-eaters alike. Swing by during the day for a slice of cake made by the award-winning vegan baker, Ruby of London, but be sure to come back later for the extensive dinner menu created by Chef Franco Casolin of Vanilla Black fame. The highlights of this menu are the two(!) plant-based burgers, the hearty Wulf Pie and the Chilli ’Non’ Carne, all of which are complemented by delicious sides and a generous wine list.

The Good Life Eatery

Chelsea

Launched in 2013, this vegan-friendly, superfood café is encouraging people to eat better, happier and healthier. The Good Life Eatery is a 6-minute walk from the Saatchi Gallery, making it the perfect healthy lunch destination after a morning of soaking in contemporary art from British and international artists. Use your newfound artistic inspiration to build your own avocado on toast (choose from several toppings including sesame tofu and feta) or have a creative detox with a superfood salad and raw pressed juice. Don’t forget to try a blueberry muffin or slice of carrot cake (both plant-based) before you leave.

Oh, and if you’re staying in one of the Knightsbridge apartments in our portfolio you can get your vitamin fix delivered right to your door.

Tell Your Friends

Parsons Green

If your idea of paradise is eating mouth-watering vegan macaroni cheese in a restaurant started by a reality TV star (as is true of many of us), Tell Your Friends is the place for you.

This bar and kitchen only opened in May 2018 but has so far succeeded in providing delicious food and showcasing the versatility of plant-based ingredients. For the best deal, book a table for Fine Wine Wednesday and receive £10 off your bottle of wine, or Happy Thursday when you can get ‘two for one’ cocktails until 10pm (try a TYF Guilty Pleasure which features quinoa vodka or opt for a refreshing, alcohol-free G&T). If you’re feeling generous, order several small plates and share amazing dishes such as arancini, mushroom and bamboo shoot gyoza and, of course, mac’n’cheese; otherwise choose a burger or sweet potato curry and dig in by yourself.

Megan’s By The Green

Parsons Green

The Parsons Green branch of the self-professed ‘most Instagrammable and romantic restaurants in London’ is a short distance from Kensington and Chelsea and, while not entirely plant-based, is a quaint, family-friendly eatery with a substantial vegan offering. Enjoy an all-day brunch under a ceiling adorned with paper flowers and fairy lights or try one of their famous deconstructed kebabs. As well as being the prettiest of the four Megan’s restaurants, this branch is also the only one to serve delicious, freshly made sourdough pizzas with plenty of toppings for both vegans and omnivores.

Farmacy Kitchen

Notting Hill

If you’re looking for a healthy vegan lunch after a scenic stroll through Kensington Gardens, look no further than Farmacy Kitchen. This plant-based restaurant is fully committed to healthy, organic and sustainable eating that benefits us and the environment. Farmacy grow their own vegetables in Kent and have them delivered in an electric van as soon as they get picked. As well as breakfast, brunch and dinner menus which all feature vegan spins on classic dishes, including an omelette made from chickpeas, butternut squash and avocado and a ‘Forager’s Pie’, they also offer high tea which is free from dairy, refined sugar, additives and chemicals on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Redemption Bar

Notting Hill

Perhaps the most relaxed restaurant on this list, Redemption Bar was founded by two female entrepreneurs who wanted to encourage people to eat out without sacrificing their health. Don’t let the alcohol-free bar put you off; nibble on some corn chips and ‘activated nuts’ while you wait for a protein-packed burger or wheat-free pasta. Maybe even try a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine or a restoring mocktail – there’s a crantini with your name on it.
